SPACKLING Any quality paint job must include repairing wall and ceiling
surfaces. Small cracks in dry wall are usually taped with
a fberglass mesh tape and finished with several coats of
joint compound. Holes created in dry wall from door knobs,
plumbing or electical repair, or water damged can be repaired
in most cases, to their original state. Cracks in plaster are
treated differently. The crackss are opened-up to provide
enough space for fresh plaster to be forced into the gaps.
In some instances where wall surfaces are damaged a thin
skim coat can be applied over imperfections.
Although we are not drywall contractors, we can do minor drywall
installations including corner bead and taping and spackling.
