Interior Painting
Our first responsibility as painters is to assure that all furnishings,
carpeting and floor surfaces are protected. The next step in a
quality paint job is preparation. In general, trim
that is to be painted is usually sanded and filled
where needed. Excessively dirty areas are
washed. Cracks and/or holes in walls and ceiling
surfaces are spackled. When needed we use a
variety of oil based and water borne primers. Our
finish coats are predominately Benjamin Moore Paint.
All quality paints are designed to adhere to a properly
prepared surface. Our use of Benjamin Moore Paints
on interior painting projects has to do with the product’s
availability on Long Island and our own familiarity with
the line. We would be happy to use other premium
products if you prefer.
On new construction we prepare all surfaces to comply
with industry standards. We recommend at least one
prime coat and two finish coats on new work.
WE USE LOW VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUND PAINTS
