The Painting Before the Holidays Paradox

Monday, November 7th, 2011

Starting some time in the beginning of November our customers assume that we are booked solid until the Holidays.  So, since everyone assumes we are too busy before the Holidays, we aren’t busy before the Holidays.  If you need work done in November or December, call us.  I assure you that we will get it done before the Holidays

Skim Coating

Friday, March 18th, 2011

Skim coating is the logical alternative to re-sheetrocking bad walls. Sometimes, hanging new wallboard seems to be the only solution to rid yourself of bad looking walls. With the proper primer followed by a professionally applied skim coat of spackle, we can make damaged wallboard look as good as new. Wallboard installation requires the removal of moldings and could involve removing radiators. Skim coating can be done with a minimum of disruption and at a fraction of the cost. Since we wet sand our spackling, we minimize dust. So, if you have damaged walls, contact us for a quote.
